Mitochondria and redox signalling molecules

Redox signaling is part of the normal physiology of all cells. Redox reactions (the summation of oxidation and reduction reactions), provide cellular energy, because the flow of electrons between molecules produces usable energy. Transfer Factor and immune system health (cell-mediated immunity)

Transfer factors are small proteins that “transfer” the ability to express cell-mediated immunity from immune donors to non-immune recipients. – Molecular Medicine, April 6, 2000. It was discovered and named in 1949 by Dr. H. Sherwood Lawrence while researching Tuberculosis at New York University.
